Daniela Stefancu is a Spanish/English primary class at Intercultural Montessori Chicago campus. It is named in memory of a former Intercultural employee who was a bright force behind Intercultural’s development as an organization.
Mirella Carreno Lead Primary Teacher, Spanish
Ms. Mirella has been working at Intercultural Montessori Language School since 2004. Mirella has an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from St. Augustine College and is pursuing a Bachelor's of Arts in Early Childhood Education from National Louis University. Mirella is Montessori certified to teach students 3-6 years old, and she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of Montessori education to the school. Mirella creates a nurturing and enriching classroom environment. She is dedicated to the academic success of her students and achieves this goal by calmly moving them through the Montessori curriculum.
Griselda Hernandez Assistant Primary Teacher, Spanish
Ms. Griselda has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Montessori Assistant training. Griselda has been at Intercultural since 2010. Her long-term goal is to acquire her Bachelor’s degree and gain Montessori teaching certification.
