We have a vibrant community of children, parents, Montessori-trained teachers, and support staff. Our children love their school and are socially and academically thriving! All of our families automatically become members of our Parent Community Association where each family is encouraged to participate. Whether it be volunteering to chaperone field trips, serving as a Greeter during morning drop off, or leading one of the fundraising events, all of these roles are necessary to allow Intercultural Montessori to focus on its mission of educational excellence and whole child development.
In addition to a wonderful community of families, the school has attracted an exceptional faculty. Our Japanese teachers are native speakers. The Spanish teachers are typically natives of Mexico, Colombia, Chile and other central or South American countries. Our Chinese teaching staff hails from Mainland China.
Intercultural Montessori is a community that supports your family in serving the needs of your child. We offer parent discussions with practical methods for fostering mutual respect between you and your child. We share knowledge of the Montessori method of education to facilitate smooth transitions between home and school. The school aspires to be inclusive and supportive - in Maria Montessori's phrase, "la casa dei bambini", a genuine home for the children and their families. All of these factors come together to produce a wonderful opportunity for innovation, accomplishment, and pride.
