Kindergarten Parent Education Event
November 18, 2015

Dear Parents,

It is hard to believe that 2015 is drawing to a close and next year is on the horizon. I understand that many families are now making decisions about the next steps in their child’s schooling. Every year, Intercultural holds a parent education event for families with pre-kindergarten children. This is designed to provide information on the importance of the kindergarten year.
As you know, Intercultural follows the Montessori philosophy in its approach to education. An approach which is primarily hinged on responding to the developmental needs of children as they pass through a series of landmarks. As such, Dr. Maria Montessori holds that the Kindergarten year represents the completion of a very significant three year period described as “early childhood”. It is the year in which the culmination of the student’s previous learning is solidified and they become fully prepared for the next step into an elementary education.
The Kindergarten Parent Education Event is scheduled at our Chicago campus on Thursday, December 10th from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Child care will be provided.

Please R.S.V.P to Mehreen Alvi at malvi@nullinterculturalmontessori.org by Monday, December 7th.

Best regards,
