Full Day Program 8:30 - 3:00 p.m.
Extended Day Program 8:30 6:00 p.m.
The children's teachers only use the target language during the immersion part of the day.
All Montessori materials are in the target language during the immersion part of the day.
Children are exposed to math, language arts, geography, science, art, and practical life through the use of a full complement of Montessori materials in the target language and in English.
Students cover the entire range of the curriculum in both languages.
At the elementary level, students experience a "cosmic curriculum" covering math, language arts, science, history, geography, ecology, and art through the use of activities that lead students from concrete to abstract learning.
Students develop independent research skills in all of the subjects and individually or in small groups choose areas of research to write reports and give oral presentations to their classmates. Students participate in a week-long trip to Wisconsin to study the environment and ecology in a Montessori setting.
