Extended Day is offered immediately following dismissal at 3:00 PM to as late as 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday at the Oak Park campus. Please contact the Oak Park Information Centre at email@example.com to enroll in Extended Day.
It is not necessary to enroll in Before Care at the Oak Park Campus as early drop-off is available to all at no charge.
Please note: Extended Day is offered on a five-day per week basis. We are unable to accommodate fewer than five days per week except for emergencies.
Extracurriculars: Intercultural hosts a selection of extra curricular activities that take place during Extended Day. Take a look at our Fall 2016 offerings here.
After School Language Classes: Intercultural offers after school language classes for children who have aged out of our regular academic programs. For more information, visit the Oak Park Language Classes page of our website.

Extended Day Teacher
Ms. Kyoko has been at Intercultural Montessori Language School since 2001. She is originally from Osaka, Japan where she graduated from the Masaru Doi Cooking School. She also holds a certificate to teach young children penmanship and calligraphy. Ms. Kyoko is Montessori certified to teach children ages 3-6. She has lived in Oak Park since 2003 with her husband and 3 daughters. She enjoys working with all the children from Intercultural.
Extended Day Teachers
Ms. Guining has been with Intercultural since 2011. She is a trained nurse and worked in Guangxi Maternity and Children's hospital for ten years. Prior to relocating to the United States, Ms. Guining held the position of Kindergarten teacher in the South China English College, where she worked for nine years. She has completed Montessori Assistant Teacher training at Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center. Ms. Guining loves children and is very diligent in taking care of all their needs.
Extended Day Teacher
This year will be Ms. Mayahuel Martinez’s first year working at Intercultural. Ms. Mayahuel is an Intercultural Alumni. She is currently attending College of DuPage to pursue a degree in Astronomy in hopes to become an Astronomy teacher. In her spare time, Ms. Mayahuel likes to work with wood to create furniture. She will be working alongside Ms. Kyoko and Ms. Guining in the extended day program.
