36th Annual
Ethnic Festival Parade
Oak Park Campus

Dear Parents,

Intercultural Montessori Language School will be participating in Oak Park’s 36th Annual Ethnic Festival Parade on Saturday, May 7th.

As a long-time resident of Oak Park, Intercultural is an important entity in our village. Our school has always promoted education, cultural awareness and diversity, and our annual participation in the Ethnic Festival and World Languages Day is an enjoyable way for our families to support our school’s mission.

Intercultural would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to participate in this special event. The parade will feature marching bands, representatives from each of Oak Park’s 10 public schools, various cultural and community groups, private and church schools. Following the parade, our Oak Park campus will be hosting a Hot Dog Cook-Out for Intercultural families!

The schedule for the morning is as follows:

9:15 am:  Meet at the Oak Park campus
9:30 am:  Walk to the field behind Julian Middle School(Cuyler & WashingtonBlvd.)
10:00 am:  The parade kicks off!
10:45 am:  Parade ends (approximate time)
11:00 am – 1:00 pm Hot Dog Cook-Out at Oak Park Campus

We encourage all of our families to make every effort to show off Intercultural’s spirit on the morning of Saturday, May 7th! Children are welcome to bring scooters, bicycles, wagons, etc., to help them travel through the parade.

We will have a sign-up sheet located in our school’s lobby. You are also welcome to sign up via email by contacting us at
