Our students consistently achieve above-average test scores, reflecting the strength of our Montessori dual-language curriculum. Standardized assessments show that Intercultural students excel in both core academics and second-language proficiency, outperforming peers in many areas.

Our 3rd through 7th grade students averaged in the 91st percentile in Mathematics, as well as 87th percentile in Language Arts in Spring 2025 (NWEA MAP, 2024-25)

Student Growth and Achievement

  • In Mathematics, average percentile rank increased from 78.8 to 91.8, placing our students among the top 10% of tested students nationwide.

  • For Language Arts, average percentile rank rose from 81.8 to 87.4, showing continued excellence across subjects.

  • 86% of tested students achieved the Global Seal of Biliteracy, demonstrating foreign language fluency and comprehension.

Our graduates are consistently accepted into Chicago’s most competitive and prestigious high schools. Recent alumni have attended Lane Tech College Prep, Jones College Prep, Whitney Young Magnet High School, British International School of Chicago, Latin School of Chicago, and Lycée Français de Chicago.

The foundation built at Intercultural extends well beyond high school. Our alumni have gone on to attend world-class universities including Cornell University, Northwestern University, University of Texas, Howard University, and Purdue University.
