Hands On Learning
Students explore complex topics through interdisciplinary themes and hands-on projects, with learning extending beyond the classroom through citywide travel and community service. Cultural Excursions & Travel Experiences
At Intercultural, we believe in learning beyond the classroom. Our students participate in enriching cultural excursions and travel experiences that enhance their academic studies and foster global awareness.
Cultural Excursions
Throughout the year, Upper Elementary students explore local cultural sites, including visits to the Japanese Market, Chinatown, and museums, deepening their understanding of history, culture, and community.
Outdoor Education
Upper Elementary students also embark on a journey to learn more about nature, where they engage in hands-on environmental education, teamwork, and outdoor exploration including practical experiences outside the school.
Middle School Travel
Every year, our Middle School students participate in a travel experience, alternating between domestic and international trips. These excursions offer students the opportunity to experience new cultures firsthand, broadening their perspectives and enhancing their global citizenship.
